Such a great movie and I am so glad on the decision to use practical effects over CGI but the one area that they needed it was on the beaches as it no where nearly shows the amount of soldiers stuck there. The loudest movie I have ever watched in my entire life. My chest alone was vibrating when the planes flew by. (Saw this movie in IMAX) Gorgeous film but my god it was loud. I love how 'Atonement' portrayed Dunkirk. 0:23 when you are rtb, but your friend needs you. I love that you showed das boot. Its my favorite movie. It was really cool to see a clip of it.

Why no AA fire from the ship. I know it's going to come off snobbish, but i don't care: if you didn't see it in the theater, you'll never really get to see this movie. The sound design, the enhanced Imax, the shepard tones rocking you in your seat. It was BEYOND film. My condolences to anyone who didn't get to live this experience last summer. Truly.
